Samuel, English as Additional Language (EAL), UK: One of my most rewarding experiences was tutoring an adult learner who had came to the UK unexpectedly and wanted to learn English. With dedication and hard work, their level of English has improved massively. They have gone from barely being able to read signs in supermarkets to being able to converse about a wide range of subjects in everyday life. The joy on their face was indescribable being able to express their thoughts in their new country. They are an example of the idea that it's never too late to learn, regardless of the circumstances around it.
