STORIES — Results Day

Salma, Maths, UK: I remember last year's results day. One particular moment stood out to me. A student who had struggled academically throughout the year approached me with a smile. After learning of his results, he had achieved his target grade to go onto college for A-Levels and his eyes welled up with tears. He hugged me tightly, thanking me for never giving up on him. In that moment, I realised that my impact as a teacher extended beyond just academics. It was about instilling belief and fostering growth, even in the face of challenges.
