Leah, Yoga, UK: A man who had been dealing with anxiety and depression for years began attending my class recommended by his therapist. At first, he was sceptical, but he found that the mindfulness practices and physical movements helped him feel more present and grounded. He began to experience more moments of joy and gratitude and eventually found the strength to seek help for his mental health issues outside of the yoga studio. I helped him with this and he reported back a few months later that the yoga sessions were the start of him having a healthier mindset moving forward.
